Preparation
Macerate the lemon zest for seven days in an airtight jar containing the alcohol, ensuring the white pith is carefully removed.
Dissolve the sugar in one and a half liters of water over heat and, once cooled, mix it with the alcohol after straining out the peels.
Let the limoncello rest for two or three days; it will appear yellow or green depending on the lemons used.
