Preparation
Cut the panettone slices and use them to line the inside of a Pyrex or ceramic baking dish, preferably deep, after buttering it.
Mix the eggs with the sugar, milk, liqueur, and vanilla seeds. Whisk the mixture well and pour it gradually over the panettone, allowing it to be absorbed.
Place a few small pieces of butter and a little sugar on the surface, then bake at 200°C for 20-25 minutes.
Allow to cool slightly, then turn out the cake and serve, if desired, with vanilla ice cream or a spoonful of whipped cream.
